Half-Day Hill Country Wine Shuttle From Austin
Overview
The Half-Day Hill Country Wine Shuttle departs from the Austin Visitor Center at 1:30PM and heads out into the Driftwood/Wimberley area of the Texas Hill Country approx. 35-45 minutes southwest of Austin. Enjoy an afternoon filled with winding roads, beautiful views, and of course…amazing wine!
We provide comfortable transportation in a Mercedes Sprinter van with a friendly local guide on this small-group excursion (maximum 10 guests). Cruise through the rolling hills and stop at three (3) different award-winning wineries for tastings. Relax and leave the planning to us! We’ll reserve all of the wine tastings in advance.
Spend 45-60 minutes at each winery. Tastings cost $17-20 USD plus tax/gratuity (not included in the shuttle price; guests pay directly at the wineries). Shuttle returns to the Austin Visitor Center at 6:00PM. Total duration is 4.5 hours. All ages welcome. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

- Photo ID required for guests 21 & up who plan to drink wine. Guests under the age of 21 are only permitted in wine tasting rooms with a legal guardian. Guests with young children must provide their own car seats and arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the tour to install them in the vehicle.
- Pets and emotional support animals are NOT permitted. Guests with a service dog MUST contact the local tour operator in advance to request approval.
- Guests are welcome to BYOB on the vehicle, but please avoid bringing glass.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking

We are from Minnesota and did a girls weekend in Austin. Doing a wine tour was a perfect way to see some of the countryside. We had such a great time! Nick, a.k.a. “Milkshake”, was the best tour guide, and made our ride so much fun. The wine was great too!

Our guide, Kelty, helped everyone get acquainted so that all 12 of us were great friends sharing Texas wines. By the end of the tour, we were all singing, laughing and sharing stories. What a fun afternoon.
