Overview

Ballinastoe Woods is located close to the village of Roundwood, County Wicklow.  These epic mountain trails take you alongside the picturesque Guinness Lake (Lough Tay) and the Sally Gap, the Wicklow Way and some pretty fantastic views regardless of rain or shine.

Distance from 8 to 18 Km, good fitness level required.

Stop At: Guinness Lake, Wicklow Ireland

Lough Tay a.k.a. as the Guinness Lake is one of the most picturesque places in Ireland. The lake actually looks like a pint of Guinness.

  • A minimum of 4 people per booking is required
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
  • A maximum of 16 people per booking
  • If you are using public transport, there is St Kevin's Bus Service (Dublin City Centre - Glendalough, County Wicklow please click onto the following link for timetable info http://www.glendaloughbus.com) drop-off point at Djouce Golf Club & the Sugar Loaf Cafe. The Ballinastoe trail head is about a 10 minute walk from here.
