Half-Day Battambang Authentic Food Experience
Overview
Khmer cuisine greatly influences other Asian cuisines, particularly China. Many Cambodian dishes are also adaptations of Chinese cuisine. Our cuisine frequently uses herbs like coriander and lemongrass to subtly flavor the food, Cambodian cuisine isn't normally spicy but we typically add fresh chilli alongside our meals.
Finding the best food in Cambodia might be challenging, so let us do it for you! We offer private transport to local restaurants and food stalls that aren't featured in travel guides. Here, you can learn the significance of each dish to the communities that enjoy them.
The guest will choose this experience because they will get the history about the dishes which gives them a big insight into Cambodian cuisine which they cannot get visiting these establishments on their own.

What to expect
Itinerary
1/ Rice Paper Spring Rolls. These popular and delicious spring rolls are made from rice paper. The majority of this thin edible paper is made in factories because of the strong demand for it. Few households in Battambang continue to make a living by hand-crafting them.
2/ This Borbor Phet has a taste that is simply fantastic. The flavors will make you want to devour another plate as soon as you finish the first. Because it includes a variety of vegetables, and snail meat, this porridge is really delicious and delightful.
3/ Cambodian and Chinese influence 'Mee Katang' means Cantonese noodles, but is pronounced 'mee Kontang' in Khmer. These charred noodles are easy to make and super versatile. Stir-fried with marinated pork, crunchy carrots and Chinese broccoli, and scrambled eggs.
4/ Selection of local desserts. Tour the local market to select traditional Cambodian sweets like banana roasted in sticky rice, sugar glazed rice donuts and many more. Take photos if you like.
5/ Enjoy your chosen desserts at a nearby bar in a quiet leafy area where you can choose from a selection of recommended cocktails
Stop At:
• Battambang, Battambang, Battambang Province
• Phsar Nath Market, Central Market Area, Battambang, Battambang 02000 Cambodia
• White Elephant Pagoda (Wat Tahm-rai-saw), 2 Street, Battambang 02000 Cambodia
