Overview

Broome’s Art and Culture Bus Tour

This tour brings you some of the best of Broome’s Art and Culture in a unique 4-hour tour.

You’ll get to experience Indigenous, traditional Australian, and Contemporary art in so many mediums including, paintings, artwork, prints, fabrics, soaps, textiles and art gifts and crafts.

You’ll learn more about the Yawuru people, culture and traditions and finish the day by enjoying hand-crafted gins and spirits at Broome’s favourite distillery.

We’ll take care of all the transport, including pick up and drop off and include food platters, bubbles and a gin and tonic of your choice.
All you need to do is slip into Broometime!

Background and commentary provided by our local Guide and Artist demonstrations at five locations plus we'll head to Moontide Distillery at the end of the tour to relax with a Distillery tour and Gin and Tonic of your choice.

Stop At: Nagula Jarndu Women's Arts and Resource Centre, 3/12 Gregory St, Broome WA 6725, Australia

Be inspired by the designs of the local Yawuru women and their hand-crafted art and textiles.

You’ll see firsthand how clothing, homewares, art and textiles are being created by local Yawuru women at Nagula Jarndu Designs.

We’ll visit the centre to watch the textile artists at work, have a chat and browse the beautiful fabrics available.

Stop At: Short St Gallery, 7 Short Street Chinatown, Broome, Western Australia 6725 Australia

A dynamic exciting gallery in the heart of Broome showcasing spectacular indigenous art from across the country.

You’ll experience the stylistic diversity of saltwater, and freshwater to the desert people offering a glimpse at the extremely sophisticated dynamic landscape which is Australian Art.

Stop At: Black Stump Gallery, 42 Carnarvon St, Broome, Western Australia 6725 Australia

Black Stump is an exciting gallery dedicated to bringing you unique artworks inspired by the magical Kimberley.

Emma and Simon’s original artworks are unique and characterised by a deep connection to the region and its beauty.

This gallery also features other artists including indigenous artists from around Australia giving you a range of art to admire and purchase.

Come and view beautiful contemporary art whilst sipping on a glass of Bubbles and enjoying a delicious platter.

Known Australia-wide for her art, Silo and Street Art, Sobrane Gallery is a must-visit while in Broome!

Sobrane is internationally recognised with exhibitions held in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Italy. She has completed walls in Soriano, Italy, Broome,
Victoria, Western Australia, and Tasmania!

Her artwork is visually stunning and highly creative! Be prepared for an assault on your visual senses in the most positive ways imaginable.

Stop At: Suzy French Art - Studio Gallery Broome, 1 Gill Rd, cable beach corner of Gill and Matthews, white picket fence, Broome, Western Australia 6726 Australia

Take in Suzy French’s breathtaking art of the Kimberley Landscapes and be mesmerized by her ability to use both canvas and aluminium.

Having lived across the Kimberley for close to 30 years, Suzy holds a strong belief that the natural environment has much to offer us as we go about our fast-paced life.

The Grace of the land, the ebb and flow of the tide. Suzy welcomes us to take a journey on this country through her eyes.

Stop At: Moontide Distillery, 17 Gwendoline Crossing, Bilingurr Cnr Gwendoline Crossing & Iona Link, Broome, Western Australia 6725 Australia

Finish off the tour with some handcrafted gins and spirits distilled right here in Broome at the Moontide Distillery.

Knowledge of native and local botanicals gained from those who’ve walked the ancient pindan soils of Broome and the Kimberley has enabled Moontide to craft unique flavours

Experience a tour of the distillery and try their Kimberley Inspired gin with a tasty cheese platter.

I really enjoyed this tour,  the amount of time in each of the galleries was enough to have a look throug the multiple pieces and buy something if you want. And closing up with a visit to the local gin destilery was the perfect day for a warm day. Definately recomended!

Great tour with informative and very friendly tour guides. Good refreshments and relaxed. Ample time at gallery and a nice finish to the tour at the Gin Distillery.
