The astonishing double-roofed Sainte-Catherine church dates back to the 15th century. The interior consists of twin naves and two aisles. Each nave is covered with a wooden vault with visible frame supported by oak pillars, in the form of an inverted hull.

There were only 2 of us for the English speaking tour and Pierre was full of energy and passion when he spoke about the history of Honfleur. He has a great sense of humour and makes the whole tour very informative and fun at the same time. I learned so much history during the tour and it has certainly enriched my knowledge of Honfleur and France. Spent a delightful 90 minutes with Pierre today walking around Honfleur while he charmingly and knowledgeably shared an enormous amount of interesting information on the history of this beautiful place - the region and its people.
