Elaine was very knowledgeable and as a local lady told us many interesting stories about Mousehole and the people who have lived there. Fascinating history with photos to show to explain everything.

We had a wonderful time with Elaine this afternoon as she took us on a fascinating and informative tour of her beautiful home town of Mousehole. Elaine's walks are to be thoroughly reccomended and her passion for Mousehole shows with her knowledge and all the fascinating facts of the villiage and local area. We did two of the walks and saw places in Mousehole that we never knew existed. The walks are easy to do and are at a leisurely pace. We also did a boat trip with Cormorant Boat Cruises out of Mousehole and its a fantastic and really enjoyable trip round Mounts Bay with skipper Neil, where we saw dolphins and all the lovely views of Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance from seaward. And then just as we were rounding St Clements Isle the Penlee lifeboat came steaming past at full speed on a shout. What more could you want on a boat trip. Tag the two together and its a fabulous day. Can't wait to go back for another walk with Elaine. 10 out of 10.I was lucky enough to secure a place on Elaine's Wrecks, Lifeboats and Lifesaving guided walk on Sunday and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was lucky enough to secure a place on Elaine's Wrecks, Lifeboats and Lifesaving guided walk on Sunday and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Elaine's passion for her home town shines through (and why not, it is a gorgeous place) and her stories of its history and heritage are fascinating. I particularly loved the old photos and mementoes she brought along, which really brought that history to life. Elaine is engaging, friendly and humorous and I would highly recommend her walks, whether you are a visitor or a local. I know I'll be walking with her again for sure!I am from Mousehole originally but when I holidayed with friends recently, I decided that I should leave the tour to a professional! I am from Mousehole originally but when I holidayed with friends recently, I decided that I should leave the tour to a professional! I wasn't disappointed - Elaine loves her village and is rightly proud of its links to life saving and local fishing heritage. We all enjoyed our walk back in time and I learnt quite a few new facts myself. Thanks Elaine.
