-You will learn about the cultivation process of this fruit consumed worldwide as well as try the different banana-based products such as wines or jams.

At the Gran Canaria Banana Museum we will guide you through a tour of our banana farm and we will teach you everything about the cultivation of this fruit. You will visit a Canarian house dating from 1804 that has been fully restored, true to its original architecture. Inside is the interpretation center and a shop where you can taste a selection of artisan products made on our islands that contain bananas, such as different jams, banana jam and even Banana Wine, as well as cosmetic lines also made with bananas. .

We arrived in the afternoon. No crowd. The guide Maria explained everything nicely with humour. The tasting of the products was yummy You can buy all the products you try.

Professional guide, funny and interesting. We were able to taste the drinks, cookies and jam at the end. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the high up view to the ocean. Enough time at the end to walk around and take pictures of the different banana species.

It was great to get a short guided tour by our host Steve, followed by a tasting session of all the local produce available in their shop. Not to be missed 👍
