Guided tour: Timanfaya National Park and La Geria
Overview
In Timanfaya we will behold the geothermal demonstrations in the area of the Islet of Hilario, where the latent heat left by the eruptions still feels strongly. Afterwards we will make the famous Volcanoes Route.
We will visit the Echadero de Camellos, where you can take a ride on these animals, true fun for the whole family.
Touring the areas near Timanfaya and its Natural Park, we will visit La Geria, a protected area dedicated to the cultivation of the Malvasia grape and the elaboration of excellent wines. The guide was really nice and his explanations really good. We visited a lot of cool places. Maybe the visit to the Geria, the wine tasting, was really bad because of the place, it was a tourism attraction with a lack of professionalism. The idea of going to a wine tasting it is to have an explanation about the wine, drink it, taste it, etc. This part was foreign oriented and I don't recommend it at all.
