Piazza Anfiteatro is an elliptical open space, built on the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater during the 2nd century. Today the square is host to many shops, bars and restaurants. The tour continues through the street of antique shops, via del Battistero, Cattedrale San Martino, the main square Piazza Napoleone and Piazza del Giglio.

Fantastic bike tour of the medieval town of Lucca. Our guide Chiara (?) was very friendly and quite informative in regards to the history of the town and surrounding wall. Glad we took the tour on our first day, because we then understood so much more about the town.

The e-bike was great fun but spending three hours with Antonella was even better. We learned so much from her and she was a delight to be with on our tour!

She had deep knowledge of the town, it’s history and culture, and took us on a lovely tour of the wall and then the treasures of the city within it. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommend if you do it to request Marta as your guide.

We rented two electric bikes and the assistance was very helpful in switching the original bike and fixing the second one to adjust to my short hight. It was a great afternoon.
