If the church is open, we visit the one where we see medieval statues, frescoes from the 15th century, sacrificial log 12th century etc. This was the earliest cathedral in Sweden excluding Danish Lund, and one of the earliest beehive seats in Sweden after Sigtuna, already in the 1130s.

Although our guide was knowledgeable - we didn't really glean any information beyond that which was available within the adjacent museum. Also we didn't walk around the mounds and the church wasn't open. Both of these elements we did ourselves. So it was less of a 'guided tour' and more of a ...
