Guided Shark Cage Diving with Hookah Air Supply in Gansbaai
Overview
Our hookah shark cage diving tour is limited to 12 guests on board for a more personalized experience with increased cage diving time.
No previous diving experience is necessary as the onboard air supply uses only compressed air (no nitrox) that allows divers to breathe comfortably through a regulator, just below the surface of the water.

What to expect
Our exclusive hookah shark cage diving adventure tours provide an on board air supply to the cage allowing divers to breathe under water for uninterrupted shark viewing. These exclusive tours are limited to 12 guests. No previous diving experience is needed to participate. The entire experience duration from time of arrrival to departure is 4 hours, you will spend around 2 - 2.5 hours at sea depending on shark activity.

- Sightings of shark species are not guaranteed, given the unpredictable nature of marine life. If you don't encounter sharks during your tour, we don't provide refunds. However, we offer no-shark vouchers, valid for 2 years, enabling you to return for another trip at no extra cost. Please be aware that this voucher doesn't include transportation.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Me and my wife joined the shark cage trip one diving (without oxygen) and one viewer. Our day, water was not clean (unlucky for videos but maybe lucky for memory. I couldn't see them until they appeared near me and that gave me some imagination when I couldn't see them so I some kind of liked dirty water) My wife didn't dive and she could see them when they were coming, they were attacking. We also had chance to see whales. That was the part of trip. But there is a team behind it and they are so nice, they have well know-how and friendly. So we were happy when we arrived. But: we stay Capetown and they are 2.5 hours away where near to southwest point of Africa, Cape Agulhas so we went there. Of course we didn't know that after 19.00, some roads are closed because of working. Because of our ignorance, we had interesting time when were coming back. So if you go there with your own vehicle, don't come back too late. Great experience from booking months ago to the actual dive - everyone so helpful and professional. A real bucket list experience and the shark activity was high from start to finish. Our main reason for travelling to SA was to experience shark cage diving and we were not disappointed ! The Hookah dive was definitely the way to go as we stayed under the water with the sharks for over 20 minutes. The company also arranged a whale watching tour for us (which was also a great experience with a Southern Right Whale coming right up to the boat to see what was going on) and also transfers to and from Cape Town - special mention to our driver Clint who kept us entertained for the round trip. An incredible day.Great experience, the crew was extremely professional and helpful. Made the experience as comfortable as they can. Paul did a great job as a guide and videographer. Alyssa the marine biologist was helpful with all her knowledge. Would 100% go back into the water with this crew.
