We saw so many shorebirds, a couple of seals, and even a little river otter family! The Griffin Bay is a nice little protected area so you don't have to worry too much about big waves from ferries or other boats. Overall, this was a great tour with very knowledgeable guides, we'd choose this company again anytime!I visited San Juan Island last summer with some friends who have never been kayaking before. I visited San Juan Island last summer with some friends who have never been kayaking before. We decided to sign up for this 3 hour tour that picks you up right in Friday Harbor, no car or experience required! The guide was extremely professional and friendly throughout the entire tour. He provided instruction before we even got on the water which was perfect for my friends who'd never been before. Once we got out on the water, the guide provided lots of information about the region and the wildlife that we saw - including the chunky seals hanging out on the smaller island off shore! I cannot recommend San Juan Kayaking Expedions enough for the professionalism, customer service, and passion for the sport!Had a wonderful kayak trip! The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely travel with them again next time I am in the area.
