Guided ascent to the Quetrupillán volcano from Pucón

When the volcano is covered in snow, the descent is done with sleds and it is possible to slide down the entire volcano sitting down. It is a unique and unforgettable experience!

What to expect
Full-day ascent to reach the summit of the Quetrupillán volcano, an inactive volcano located 40km from Pucón.
We will cross several types of trail (native forest/snow/volcanic rocks), we will observe local fauna and flora, we will have wonderful panoramic views of the ancient Araucaria forests, several volcanoes, lakes and lagoons, and also over the Villarrica Volcano glacier.
Arriving at the summit, at 2370m high, the imposing Lanin volcano will appear in front of you, and you will discover an immense glacier in the crater of the Quetrupillán volcano.
We assure you that you will feel privileged and totally disconnected during this activity!

Quetrupillan is at least as beautiful as Villarica, and the views from the top were amazing. We were fully equipped with crampons and ice axes. Our guides, Marike and Cristian, were great. They love the mountains and they know what they are doing.
