What to expect
We will meet at Moqui Cave 5 miles north of Kanab on Hwy 89.
Do not use Apple Maps. Input "Moqui Cave" on your google maps and meet at the north end of the parking lot near the "ROAM" banner on the fence. We will be seeing some of the best places Kanab has to offer. We will travel via Can Am UTV to Peekaboo Slot Canyon. We will walk through the 1/2 mile long slot canyon and take in the beauty of one of the most iconic slot canyons in Southern Utah. We will then travel to a hidden lake located in a cave. Next we will travel 10 miles to The Great Chamber (a sand dune alcove on the side of a mountain). The Great Chamber requires a 1/4 mile steep hike up a hill. The whole tour you will walk about 2 1/2 miles. We will then travel back to the Peekaboo Trailhead where our journey began.

We went on a 9 o’clock tour and you could actually go barefooted to the Great Chamber. I think it was easier to go barefoot and then to get sand in your shoes.All the rave is true!!! The tour is designed to get there when the sun is high and you have the best experience and pictures. The Great Chamber is a great secret of Utah, I don't believe a lot of people know about this beautiful place. All of this experience was possible because OUR GUIDE was great. He was always positive and accommodated everyone wishes of the 3 families on the tour. He answer all the questions and it was very professional.
