The train trip and the Skyrail (once I stopped being scared witless) were excellent. I really enjoyed the Butterfly Sanctuary and was then able to recognise some of the butterflies when I was in the Daintree rainforest a few days later. The Army Duck ride was fun also.

Fantastic scenic rail journey to Kuranda with scenic stop off. Lots of time for various activities once at the town. Fun filled Army Duck Experience..hats off to the great guys who run it. Breath taking return on the Skyrail. The entire day was extremely well organized with very caring staff from pick up to return and the people who organized us on and off the skytrain. Do not miss this experienceBeautiful views from the train and sky rail. The only bad part was there wasn’t enough time to spend in the village so you would want to rent a car and come back another day to indulge in shopping. Definitely take all the train and sky rail stops and explore the boardwalks.
