My wife and I were thrilled with the excursion we booked with Alaska Helicopter Tours. We chose the “Grand Knik Tour” which included a few landings. The views of the majestic mountains and glaciers were spectacular. Our pilot (Tyler) was amazing. We were particularly impressed with his confidence when landing on a ridge that allowed for the most picturesque 360-degree view of the beautiful landscape. The tour was thrilling but at no time did we feel as if safety was overlooked. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an aerial view which I doubt cannot be experienced in any other way!Excellent pilots, Steve & Ben, made our trip informational, safe, & thoroughly enjoyable! We’ve lived in AK 38 years. Being able to immerse & surround ourselves with alpine glacier beauty had us falling in love with AK yet again! Highly recommend this for Sourdoughs & tourists alike!

My family and I loved this tour, even my teenage kids thought this was utterly fantastic. We landed on and near the glaciers near Anchorage. Our pilots were excellent and great tour guides, and kept us informed and safe the entire time. They were able to fly close enough to the glaciers to see unbelievable detail, and were able to help us spot moose, Dall sheep, and mountain goats too. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see these beautiful glaciers up close and have an amazing experience doing so!The whole tour was amazing! We had a clear blue sky and almost no wind, so the conditions to fly and land anywhere were perfect. The views from both the air and on ground were truly breathtaking! It was my first time in a helicopter, and I couldn't have imagined a better flight to start with. Thank you so much for this! And Tyler, if you ever read this: Always remember, Mulan is not Pocahontas! ;)Though I grew up in Alaska, I wanted to come in with a fresh pair of eyes, as I was visiting with my wife who had never been to the state as a tourist. Though I grew up in Alaska, I wanted to come in with a fresh pair of eyes, as I was visiting with my wife who had never been to the state as a tourist. As it turned out, Alaska Helicopter Tours was a definitive experience. We were graced by the presence of our pilot, Brandon the Flyin' Hawaiian, who had only been with the company for a month at that point. He was a ton of fun, with being extremely gregarious, inquisitive and not afraid of engaging in some friendly jabs back and forth. We were blown away by the experience and wish to give two big thumbs up!It was a great experiance ,absolutely beautifull nature .
