Grand Canyon National Park South Rim Bus Tour from Las Vegas
Overview
Our dedicated tour guide is not a driver guide so they can focus on providing you with the best tour experience possible. They will leave the driving to the bus driver which we find is a safer and better experience for everyone.
Once we arrive at the South Rim, enjoy stops along the rim such as Mather Point and Bright Angel Lodge. Explore popular attractions in the Grand Canyon National Park such as El Tovar, Hopi House, Kolb Photo Studio, and the Bright Angel Trail to make memories of a lifetime!

I’m not reviewing the Grand Canyon because I am a mortal and incapable of the lyrics, symphonies and poetry necessary to do so. Ask a god for that. So, first, the good because it was very good. Communications from the tour company was frequent and useful. It’s hard to over communicate esp given inline transactions. (Huge problem tho that the emails didn’t render the HTML properly and were almost illegible. Yay for texts, tho). Everything went according to schedule which was also frequently and clearly communicated. Double pluses for abundant water during the trip. This desert and altitude dries me out! The driver, Earl, had the most friendly smile and demeanor. I felt super safe and welcome with him at the wheel. Naren was our guide and was full of just enough energy and good humor—never spilled into the cringe range. Naren, too, was genuinely concerned with us all having fun as well as making sure we were on time. He was super-empathetic and made sure that everyone understood the drill no matter their language. I esp liked how he walked through and went over the maps with the folks on their own one on one. I signed up for the tour and think it’s a good idea for a day trip. In addition to an informed guide (Naren) who was also a patient and kind photographer, there was a decent amount of time for individual exploring. If I was there with my family, tho, there wasn’t enough time. Which brings me to the cons There were 2 stops in the way. I didn’t mind stopping since I always drink alot of water. First stop was to pick up sandwiches. Restrooms were nice and clean but I had to walk through a friggin shrine to a former, twice impeached president of the US. So many cups and magnets and stickers and hats and T-shirt’s full of vitriol—yes the prominent display of “Brandon” tshirts. Frankly 25% of the store was turned over to this and without any other president of either party on display, it made me feel a bit unsafe. Second stop at a rundown “town” where we got to pee in a utility closet (literally, not a lie) was dumb. Would rather have spent extra time at the canyon. This was a sad stop at a place whose claim to fame is that it’s a ghost of itself. Two suggestions. First, the food supplied is simple and did its job but the carbs&fat::healthy ratio was definitely white bread sticks to the roof of your mouth level. “Dinner” was fast food. At least chipotle has lettuce. Second, the Grand Canyon is at 7,000 feet. This is high for the average East Coaster. Drink a lot of water to avoid headaches and be prepared to go slow. The air is thin and you might find yourself gasping. Anyway, book the tour. Was a great tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide, David. It was a long time to be on the bus, but the canyon was worth it.

Great overall experience with their one-day tour of the Grand Canyon. Good communications before the trip and fairly well organized during the trip. Great and enthusiastic tour guide. The only minor gripe is you really need to read the fine print as they charge you additional $20 per person to ride with the tour bus going from one attraction point to another attraction point in GC. Otherwise you'll need to hike about 3 miles to meet up with them later while they drop your off at the first attraction point. We were told one of their customers on the exact same tour the day before were lost during the hike. So you have been warned!I had an amazing time viewing the Grand canyon South rim, the photo that were taken by our tour guide Brandon absolutely beautiful besides that he took us to see also amazing walking down the canyon with him I sure wouldn't have made it had he not been there to assist me and guide me on the way b...
