We hired Amrit for Golden temple Guided tour but was so blown away by his knowledge that we hired him for the entire next day to show us the entire city. He is an living breathing encyclopedia about the city. We explored so many hidden hole in the wall food joints and made so many great memories. He also showed us the forgotten Pul Kanjari spot on our way to the wagah border. I recommend this guy for you if this is your first visit in Amritsar.What a caring person, he was professional, punctual and had a great deal of knowledge about the city and the golden temple. He taught so much in such a little time. Our highlight was the backstage area of the kitchen where they cook humongous meals.

As I was traveling to Amritsar, I suddenly remembered that I hadn't booked my Wagah Border taxi. I instantly checked up agencies that take up last minute Wagah Border tours and this particular website Planet Amritsar caught my eye. Not only did they take me to Wagah and showed me the procession from a different angle, they also had told me regarding a 4AM Golden Temple Experience where the history of the Sikhs were told. Me being from the South, we were more focused on the Mughals and the Sindhi empire were out of our borders. This experience showed me a whole new dimension, something that I had not touched ever before. Thank you Gurpreet and Amritpal. No regrets at all. 🤍We spent the evening with Amritpal exploring the Temple and it was magical, the places he showed us that we would have missed and the stories. This is a must do experience if you really want to witness Golden Temple and all it's stories.

Also, he knows the Temple very well and will lead you through areas of it that you wouldn't dare to wander around without him. I learned loads from him and he made my stay in Amritsar memorable and special. Absolutely recommend this tour with him, you won't regret it!
