At the river, we will spend some time panning for gold and learning about the history of gold mining here in the Bradshaw Mountains.

My friends and I did the guided hiking and gold panning tour and we really enjoyed it. Our guides, Riley and Jake, were fantastic- friendly, informative, fun to chat with, and just overall bought such a great energy to the tour. The hike is short especially if you’re used to hiking quite a bit but it gave us a lot of time to gold pan. Jake and Riley guided us thru the steps of how to gold pan and we had so much fun doing it. We even found a tiny tiny gemstone and some gold flakes! Thank you to both for a great experience. It’s only our first week in Arizona but having done this, we are looking forward to exploring more. My hubby, daughter, her friend, grandson and I went on the gold panning tour with our awesome guide, Anthony. Anthony told us all kinds of info about the scenery and animals on this hike; he was a fountain of knowledge! The terrain was rocky and steep in places and took some effort to climb both up and down, but we managed without too much difficulty considering our ages and fitness levels. Anthony explained in detail how to pan for the gold and what to look for and was very helpful while we were looking for the flakes. Although not all of us found some gold, we were glad we had the experience. I would recommend the tour and Anthony as a guide!We had so much fun on our Gold Rush tour! Shot shared tons of fun facts and helped us find Gold! Thank you Shot!
