Children 3 and under are free. If they want to pan, there are mineral and semi-precious gemstones for them to find.

- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required during the winter months
- Near public transportation
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

He is a storehouse of curious and historical facts about the Alaska gold mining era, it made it really interesting and fun. We all got gold and semi precious stones to take home. Highly recommended! Ask for Ole’ Larry!We enjoyed this experience as a family. We learned a lot about the history of gold mining in Alaska from our miner, and had fun learning how to work the pan and find the gold. It gave us a taste of what panning for gold was like. It was a fun thing to do and the people were friendly too.
