What to expect
By far our most popular trip, this 3 hour rafting trip meets at our river front facility. Heading up river about 9 miles to the Shoshone Rapids in Glenwood Canyon on the Colorado River, we get off to an exciting start as we navigate the class III-IV rapids including The Wall, Tombstone, Maneater, Superstition, and many more. The river gradually begins to mellow out and your guide will educate you on the incredible history of Glenwood Canyon and the Colorado River. At lower flows, natural hot springs flow right into the river and we can stop and soak. Your trip will end right back at our private river ramp at our facility, where you can walk from the raft to a warm shower, to your car and belongings, and immediately view photos from your trip.

This was fun. They hype you up on the way there, so I was a tad nervous. Don't be. There's a great guide and it's pretty manageable rapids. Ed was our guide and we had the best time. It's not all rapids.. you float most of the way. This allows you to take in the scenery and make small talk ...
This was fun. They hype you up on the way there, so I was a tad nervous. Don't be. There's a great guide and it's pretty manageable rapids. Ed was our guide and we had the best time. It's not all rapids.. you float most of the way. This allows you to take in the scenery and make small talk with your raftmates. One family came all the way from Netherlands! Don't wear flip flops like I did-lol. You'll make a stop at a site where hot springs we're found and it's very rocky to climb around it- if you get in, that is. I wish I would have had shoes on to be able to go closer there. I brought a water bottle. It just stayed in the bottom of the raft. I suppose you could have brought a small bag of snacks too, a waterproof bag. I will definitely be going back! I booked through viator for the online airline miles through. 10/10!! Definitely go. I was with my husband and 16 year old.Had a blast rafting the Colorado River with Whitewater Rafting LLC. Our guide, 5Liter, was very outgoing and quite knowledgeable. Had a blast rafting the Colorado River with Whitewater Rafting LLC. Our guide, 5Liter, was very outgoing and quite knowledgeable. She was continually pointing out things along the river along with telling a few tails. You could tell safety was a priority but at the same time we had a lot of fun - from spinning the raft, bull riding and just getting soaked. 5L knew how to read the river and made sure we all got wet.Team, and Ron, the owner were awesome - attentive and responsive, and answered all our concerned. We'll definitely be back
