Glenwood Canyon Bike Ride - Rental & Shuttle
Overview
Popular hikes along the canyon include Grizzly Creek and No Name Canyon.
Includes: Helmet, Bike Lock, Handlebar Bag.
** Currently, due to the recent mud slide activity, the bike path in Glenwood Canyon from Shoshone to Bair Ranch is closed. For this trip we now drop you off at Grizzly Creek, which is about a 6 mile bike ride, along the Colorado River back to our office in Glenwood Springs. Most groups take about 2 hours to complete the ride, but you can take as long as you need, up to a full day. If you are looking a little longer ride, after being dropped off you can bike upstream (2 miles) to Shoshone, and watch the rafters run the famous Shoshone Rapids, before turning around and biking back to Glenwood Springs.

The company was great, prompt and organized. The canyon was beautiful, but due to wind, the ride was much more challenging than you might expect. My brother loved it, I'd rather rent a bike and ride a much shorter distance.

The trip was great. The check in process was quick and easy even though we showed up a little late. The bikes were well maintained with a lot of size options for our group. The quaint little bike shop had a small town feel that apparently was a rafting store at one point. Brian our driver was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and recommended a pizza place in Carbondale that we can't wait to visit again. Unfortunately, glenwood canyon was closed when we were there but the rio grand trail ended up being amaing. It was a bit more isolated and was much quieter than riding next to the interstate would have been. This might be our new vacation spot going forward. They dropped us off on a bike tour they called the Rio Grand tour that they claimed was downhill for 14 miles. They dropped us off on a bike tour they called the Rio Grand tour that they claimed was downhill for 14 miles. The terrain was ugly and the bike path was flat with the wind going against you. There were two groups that went that day and both of us called them so we could get picked up long before reaching the end of the trail. The bike they gave me was piece of crap.Beautiful ride along paved path. The only downside is the sound of loud trucks as you occasionally ride under the highway. When you are away from the highway it’s great. The river is gorgeous. Excellent guide who drove and dropped us off; full of good information about the region.
