Glass blowing life demo and Prosecco
Overview
You'll live the authentic experience of the centuries old Murano Glass in one of the oldest Glass Factories of the island. You'll see a skilful Glass Master working the different techniques of the Glass Production, such as the famous Blowing Glass technique or the Sculpture technique.
During the demonstration of the Glass production a member of our team will explain the different steps of the production, the techniques and the material used by our Glass Master, while you will enjoy a glass of Prosecco!
The visit will then continue to the Glass Artworks Collection of the Factory, that houses masterpieces made by the most important Murano Glass Masters that collaborates with our Glass Factory.

What to expect
Guests will enjoy a glass of Prosecco wine while seeing a demonstration of the Glass production. Prosecco is a worldwide known sparkling white wine produced in the area around Venice. During the glass production demo a member of the staff will explain the different production techniques because the Murano Glass Masters are still using the same techniques they've been using for centuries. After the demonstration, guests will visit the showroom with the most beautiful collection of Murano Glass artworks or buy some souvenirs at the gift shop.

The glass blowing demonstration was fantastic! Being able to see the artists create these beautiful works of art was amazing. Our guide however left much to be desired. He offered very little information about the process, only providing insight when specifically asked. Otherwise, he was either on his phone, having side conversations with the artists, or just sat in silence. Luckily, watching the demonstration was interesting enough, even without his participation. In regard to quality, the items in the private gallery upstairs were beautiful and of very high quality, but the items in the shop on the main level were not very impressive; we found nicer "souvenirs" in other shops.The tour is not worth it. High cost whereas you can see the live demonstration for free. As far as the buying experience, we were led to believe there would be no import taxes to the US, because its considered Art etc etc. They lied to us. Fedex sent us a hefty bill. The tour is not worth it. High cost whereas you can see the live demonstration for free. As far as the buying experience, we were led to believe there would be no import taxes to the US, because its considered Art etc etc. They lied to us. Fedex sent us a hefty bill. In other words, they will tell you anything to sell. Do your research, negotiate better prices, get everything in writing!Very Informative and interesting to see great craftsman at work.
