Loved it!A great tour and Alasdair was an engaging, enthusiastic, interesting and informed guide. As a born and raised Glaswegian with a great interest in history (not to mention in beer!) I was amazed at how much I learned about the history of the city and of beer. Highly recommended!

My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed this beer tour last week through central Glasgow with our excellent, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides Sara and Amy. This tour gives you a local brewing history guide and allows you to sample a wide variety of beers and lagers I was not previously familiar with and the food was an extra treat. My mate and I were in Glasgow and decided to do the ScotBeer Tour. Being the beer fans that we are, we thought that the tour would be a good mix of beer and a way to see and understand the history of Glasgow better. The tour did not disappoint!! Alasdair was a fantastic tour guy and clearly knowledgeable and passionate about all things Glasgow and beer. To be honest we didn't know much about Glasgow or Glaswegian beer, however by the end of the tour that changed. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Alasdair for a fantastic afternoon.I was trying to find activities for my friend and I to do while he was visiting me in Glasgow, and I came across Scot.Beer's website. I was trying to find activities for my friend and I to do while he was visiting me in Glasgow, and I came across Scot.Beer's website. He and I both love history and the notion of history over local beer was absolutely a delight. I immediately booked it and I do not regret it. Our Tour Guide was a very charming and intelligent fellar who was passionate about the city and the dynamic events that have shaped it. He did an excellent job, walking us around Blysthwood Square and explained exactly how that square developed and, in turn how the city had developed. He also did an excellent job telling how as time progressed both the city and thus the beer changed and evolved. It was an awesome and relatively short journey from Blysthwood to Buchanan street. Well worth your time!
