Stop At: Nieuwe Kerk, Markt 80, 2611 GW Delft The Netherlands
The new church houses the mausoleum of William of Orange, the founder of the Netherlands. The crypt of the royal family can also be found in this church. The church has recently been renovated and has become beautiful! The many stained glass windows are particularly worthwhile.
A guided tour of the church is available on request. Admission is not included.

Stop At: Vermeer Centrum Delft, Voldersgracht 21, 2611 EV Delft The Netherlands
we will walk through the atmospheric center of Delft and see the places where Johannes Vermeer lived and worked.

Stop At: Museum Prinsenhof Delft, Sint Agathaplein 1, 2611 HR Delft The Netherlands
During our walking tour we will walk along the Prinsenhof and see the statue of William of Orange in the courtyard. Your guide will tell you about William of Orange, the Father of the Fatherland.

The old church dates from the 13th century, making it the oldest church in Delft. Known for its leaning tower with the nickname 'Leaning Jan'.
Johannes Vermeer, Piet Hein and Anthonie van Leeuwenhoek are buried in this church. A guided tour of the church is available on request. Admission is not included

The town hall located on the market opposite the Nieuwe Kerk is a beautiful building in the Neo-Renaissance style. Renovated by Hendrick de Keyser, who also made the mausoleum of William of Orange. If possible, we will take a look at the entrance hall, where it can still be clearly seen how earlier the judiciary took place. The oldest tower in Delft, Het Steen, is also located here. This tower served as a prison and the murderer of William of Orange was also locked up here.

Yvette gave us a tour of Delft that was more than we could have hoped for. The pace was perfect as she showed us the sights and shared their history with us including the new church, monuments, and pointed out snippets of history in the streets and walls throughout Delft without missing a beat. ...
Yvette gave us a tour of Delft that was more than we could have hoped for. The pace was perfect as she showed us the sights and shared their history with us including the new church, monuments, and pointed out snippets of history in the streets and walls throughout Delft without missing a beat. She took us to the Delftware artists and local shops we could try cheese, herring, licorice and stroopwaffel; she also gave us wonderful food and drink recommendations to explore on our own after our tour. Yvette gave us opportunities to ask questions and tailor the experience to what we were looking for. She offered group photos at special spots we wouldn’t have otherwise noticed that are now lasting memories. She was passionate and knowledgeable about her home and it was apparent. We felt so lucky to have her guide us through Delft. Her tour was a top highlight of our trip and the best tour we took of our various bookings throughout the region.magtav

We were all captured by his simple, clear explanations and his enthusiasm. I could point at anything around me and he could tell me a story about it. I will never forget what I learned that day. We had a fun morning strolling through Delft with our guide Yvette. She showed us many historic places including some of the houses that made it to a KLM miniature. Als verrassing voor zijn verjaardag nam ik mijn man mee voor een bezoekje aan Delft. Delft ligt zowat naast ons dorp Wateringen en we komen er regelmatig, maar ik wilde deze keer eens wat meer achtergrond en interessante weetjes te weten komen. Ook wilde ik graag wat hofjes bekijken. Als verrassing voor zijn verjaardag nam ik mijn man mee voor een bezoekje aan Delft. Delft ligt zowat naast ons dorp Wateringen en we komen er regelmatig, maar ik wilde deze keer eens wat meer achtergrond en interessante weetjes te weten komen. Ook wilde ik graag wat hofjes bekijken. Klaas belde me al van te voren om mijn wensen door te nemen en dit ging op een hele prettige manier. Op zaterdagochtend haalde hij ons op bij ons hotel en nam hij ons mee op een erg boeiende rondleiding. Hij wist ons heel veel te vertellen en was ook erg gezellig in de omgang. Voor mijn man was deze rondleiding onderdeel van de verrassing en die is absoluut geslaagd. Genoten hebben we!
