This was two tours, Uffizy Gallery and Academia Gallery along with a tour of Florence. Annette, our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Florence and the two galleries. The culmination of the morning tour was to see the statute of David, its was incredible to say the least, the height of the statute was 14 feet. Michelangelo did a superb job creating this masterpiece. The afternoon session was looking at art from the Medeci collection and was very impressive. We highly recommend this tour to see art and statutes at its finest. We had L’Accademia tour in the morning with Stephanie and the Uffizi tour in the afternoon with Claudia. Very busy, lots of crowds to negotiate- the guide did her best. The afternoon portion was inside the Uffizi concentrated on the art. Nine people in the group and it was much better. Guide was passionate about choosing the best pieces and her explanations were clear and understandable.Had 2 tours and both guides were amazing. Sadly I only remenber Giovanna s name.
