This was our first tour with Nordic Tours. Our guide Eugenia was fantastic, sharing her knowledge of NW Argentina. The van was very comfortable and small enough to allow Eugenia to talk without a microphone. There were plenty of stops for refreshments and bathroom breaks. Eugenia’s English was great and she made everyone feel comfortable. Highlights included the hill of 7 colours in Purmamarca and the artisan market (over priced). Eugenia took us on an easy hike to see more sights in Purmamarca. For me the highlight was the beautiful Salinas Grandes. Pack your sunglasses and water. I felt the effects of the high altitude, but did not feel sick. It was very special to experience the Andes and to see wildlife too. We saw vicuñas and guanguacos. I would recommend this tour.Well... Well... I was sceptical at first after having read some negative reviews about Nordic but I decided to give it a try... And it was AMAZING... Thanks a lot!!I had an amazing time on this tour. While the journey was long out tour guide Jorje made the drive very entertaining. The English translator was also very helpful and nice. The sights themselves were breathtaking. Wonderful experience!

The salinas grandes area was beautiful and good for imaginative photos (express your inner child!). Our guide Martin was friendly and provided us a lot of information in English, although we were the only English...
The tour was really good and the drive was scenic. The landscapes were breathtaking! The salinas grandes area was beautiful and good for imaginative photos (express your inner child!). Our guide Martin was friendly and provided us a lot of information in English, although we were the only English speaking couple. We sat beside him and he always gave us the same information as for the whole group. Thats a plus! From disadvantages: the time in Purmamarca and the hike were too short. Maybe spending 2,5h instead of 2h in the village is a better idea?then there will be no rush with lunch and shopping, and the joy from the hiking will be more complete. Additionally, we didn’t go to the restaurant for lunch that was suggested by the guide and did not regret a bit! We checked the TripAdvisor ratings of the suggested place and other places in the village, and ended up in a super restaurant, where we tried the best meat maybe during our whole trip in Argentina. I cannot say anything bad personally about the lunch place recommended by the guide, but just please check the ratings before following the suggestions from the guide.I had a really good time on the tour! Our guide was great and the views were spectacular. I really like long bus rides where I can listen to music and look at things so this was perfect.

We had Soledad as a tour guide and I agree with ronprime that the tour was just OK. I couldn't really understand the English translations and they were a little sparse. We even had a girl from Buenos Aires who said she couldn't even unde...
I think the tour really depends on who you have as a guide. We had Soledad as a tour guide and I agree with ronprime that the tour was just OK. I couldn't really understand the English translations and they were a little sparse. We even had a girl from Buenos Aires who said she couldn't even understand the Spanish on the tour. It was muffled and the guide was not speaking very clearly. The tour was also rushed at Salinas Grandes. Everything else on the tour honestly I don't really remember. If you are a solo traveler like me I guess it was worth it since you don't have to figure out logistics.
