A excursão teve a duração de 6 horas. Foram 6 horas muito bem passadas. Vimos as vinhas mais bonitas de sempre, na companhia do nosso guia Dorian. Uma pessoa muito simpática, que fez da nossa excursão a melhor que já fizemos. Começamos por conhecer uma vinha subterrânea, de seguida seguimos para o local do almoço. Mas, pelo caminho, o guia fez paragens para tirarmos algumas fotos em sítios lindos de cortar a respiração. O almoço foi simples mas bom, com direito a uma garrafa de vinho. Depois fomos para o seguinte chateau onde conhecemos a história das vinhas de Bordéus e descobrimos como se produz realmente o vinho. Tivemos direito a provar 2 vinhos diferentes. What more could be said than our knowledgeable driver/tour guide Emily met us on time, reached all scheduled activities on time, and returned us to Bordeaux, on time. In addition to Emily's knowledge of the history of St. Emilion, her understanding of wineries and the region were superb. The relationships that Emily established at each location, particularly the vineyard at which we had lunch (and wines) made those stops even more enjoyable. Emily also verified some items for our next day trip with A la Francaise that our travel agent had failed to accomplish.
