Full day Tour Charquini and Laguna Esmeralda
Overview
The tour lasts approximately 8 - 9 hours from the time of departure to the time of return.
After the pick up of you and the other participants, we will go by transport for approximately 2 hours to the first attraction, from that moment you will be able to feel the fresh air, visit a historic cemetery and observe beautiful landscapes until the moment we reach the slopes of the Glacier Charquini, where we will begin the walk of approximately 1 hour until we reach the Laguna Esmeralda, in this place we will stay for around an hour enjoying the landscape while we eat snacks, after that time we will begin the return and subsequent arrival in La Paz.
It is a walk of not much demand where you can see some mountains of the Cordillera de los Andes and reach one of the most beautiful lagoons in La Paz. Perfect for those who want to acclimatize prior to their ascent to Huayna Potosi.

From the meeting point to our first stop we have approximately 2 hours of travel.
From this point it is possible to see the Nevado Charquini, to which we are heading, the Chacaltaya mountain and the Huayna Potosì.

One of the most beautiful lagoons in La Paz with a characteristic Emerald color, in the background the Huayna Potosí Glacier. In winter time (June-July) it is possible to find a part of it frozen.

Um tour espetacular pelas montanhas. Paisagens espetaculares e uma subida de, aproximadamente, dois mil metros de trilha fácil. Prepare-se para não faltar ar, mas é tranquilo. O visual quando se chega ao top é espetacular, confira nas fotos. Vá sempre de guia.

Passeio próximo a La Paz imperdível. É preciso estar um pouco em forma para a subida do Glaciar Charquini. O pessoal da Feel Bolivia é muito bacana, em especial a Guia Pati e o motorista Rafael.

Guides were friendly and caring. The views and sites you see on this trip are well worth it-- really fantastic. Milluni lagoon with Huyauna Potosi in background was breathtaking. The Laguna Esmeralda at base of Chaquini Glacier (all should note that you will be at 5024m elevation) was amazing....

The Laguna Esmeralda at base of Chaquini Glacier (all should note that you will be at 5024m elevation) was amazing. They provided a banana, chocolate bar, cheese empanada and coco tea for every person. You need to bring your own water and any other snacks (they can stop at a market if you want to buy stuff). We were back in La Paz by 3:30 pm. Highly recommend.dombash96
