Full Day Tour Canyon of the Lost in Ica Desert
Overview
6:30 a.m. I pick up our visitors from their hotel in Ica or bus station, then we will go to the south of Ica.
07:00 am Departure to the Ocucaje desert bound for the beautiful canyon of the lost, where we will observe many landscapes of crops in the dunes.
09:00 am We will arrive at the scenic viewpoint of the canyon of the lost, where you will observe the main gorge of the Canyon with a depth of approximately 150 meters in its sky flying the red-headed vultures, a stop where you will be impressed, Start of our adventure with a walk along a sedimentary road where you can see some extinct marine fossils when our Peruvian sea was warm waters, where they lead us to the lakes (Ojos de Agua).
11:30 am Return to the city of Ica
14:30 pm Culminating, the tour visitors will be returned to their hotels or bus station in Ica

We will visit the scenic viewpoint of the canyon of the lost, where you will observe the main gorge of the Canyon with a depth of approximately 150 meters in its sky flying the red-headed vultures, a stop where you will be impressed thanks to the whim of nature.
Beginning of our adventure with a walk along a sedimentary path where you will be able to appreciate some extinct marine fossils when our Peruvian sea was warm waters, where they lead us to the oxbow lakes (Ojos de Agua) you will clearly be able to observe the main test in the walls of the Canyon with lines drawn by the water of the sea that once existed.

The canyon is excellent with natural formation with the vestige of ica river or ancient sea. And you can go down to the canyon to see four parts of the canyon! It’s amazing that you can both see the top and down, a whole image of what the canyon looks like. And the tour guide is very patient , telling all the thing around history and how it has been explored — why it has the name of lost canyon because it is so hard to find and the explorer nearly get lost here. And they provided both Spanish and English, which is excellent for me as a second language user! And they know where is the best place for photos! The canyon is located near Ica, south of ica, which is very hard to find with very original road condition, but the tour guide drive the car smoothly.
