I booked the Soweto, Apartheid Museum, and the Pilanesberg safari tours with MoAfrika tours. My husband and I traveled to Johannesburg from the USA to celebrate my 40th birthday. When my husband and I landed in South Africa, I immediately remembered that I left something important back home. I immediately contacted MoAfrika to ask if our pick up time and location could be changed due to me having to go to the mall to pick up the item I left back at home. It was around 1 am when I texted MoAfrika and I received an immediate response that they could accommodate my request. I'm still so very grateful for that. Our tour guide Thabang met my husband and I at the mall and provided a wonderful tour of Soweto, Mandela’s House and the Apartheid Museum. Thabang also took us to a great restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious. Our initial tour was on a Tuesday and our Pilanesberg tour was scheduled for a Thursday. I looked at the weather and realized that it would be raining all day on Thursday. I contacted MoAfrika to change the Pilanesberg tour from Thursday to Friday and again they were very accommodating. I highly recommend MoAfrika Tours if you want an authentic S. African experience.
