Unsere Safari-Tour im Yala Nationalpark gehört zu den Highlights unserer Rundreise auf Sri Lanka. In der Hoffnung auf viele unterschiedliche Tiere zu treffen und sogar den ein oder anderen Leoparden zu erspähen, wurden wir gegen 4 Uhr morgens von unserer Unterkunft abgeholt. Das frühe Aufstehen hat sich gelohnt: Wir waren einer der ersten Jeeps im Park und konnten die ersten Tiere bei Sonnenaufgang begrüßen. Außerdem haben wir einen schlafenden Leoparden aus der Ferne gesehen, eine kleine Leoparden-Familie und später nochmal einen einzelnen Leoparden, der nur wenige Meter entfernt war. Unsere Erwartungen wurden somit übertroffen und wir hätten nicht gedacht, dass wir so viele Tiere zu sehen bekommen. Der Tourguide Janaka ist sehr professionell, freundlich und top organisiert. Wir können die Tour jedem Interessierten nur ans Herz legen.Wir haben uns für diese Safari entschieden und waren begeistert. Wir haben alles gesehen was wir sehen wollten und unsere Fahrer Sachika ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Rundum ein perfekter Tag.

Rundum ein perfekter Tag.Tutto sommato un bel safari, abbiamo visto molti animali inclusi i leopardi in 4-5 occasioni (sopratutto il pomeriggio), driver simpatico e puntuale che ha cercato di venire incontro alle esigenze di tutte le 6 persone presenti nella jeep (noi volevamo vedere leopardi, mentre un'altra coppia elef...
Tutto sommato un bel safari, abbiamo visto molti animali inclusi i leopardi in 4-5 occasioni (sopratutto il pomeriggio), driver simpatico e puntuale che ha cercato di venire incontro alle esigenze di tutte le 6 persone presenti nella jeep (noi volevamo vedere leopardi, mentre un'altra coppia elefanti). Cibo incluso nel safari buono e abbondante. L'aspetto negativo che posso sottolineare è che il prezzo è lo stesso sia che siate 2 persone sia 6 il che secondo noi è abbastanza strano e inoltre non abbiamo molto apprezzato il fatto che abbiamo perso più di mezz'ora a trainare un'altra jeep che si era rotta a scapito di osservare un leopardo su un albero (credo che avremmo potuto lasciar fare all'assistenza o altro dato che noi avevamo pagato per vedere gli animali). Parlando col proprietario su whatsapp siamo venuti a conoscenza di alloggi che loro avevano vicino al lago di Tissamaharama e abbiamo deciso di stare 2 notti nella casa sull'albero (Lake view treehouse) ed è stato perfetto! Forniscono biciclette gratuite per fare un giro del lago dove si possono osservare tanti uccelli ma anche molta vita locale e l'atmosfera e le cene sono state magnifiche!Het is een leuke Safari, onze guide kon niet zo veel vertellen en reed ons eigenlijk alleen maar rond. We started with the evening safari with our driver Loku who was an amazing driver & 4x4 expert, you will have a thrilling 4x4 experience! Price was great, half the cost of booking through hotel, including pick up from hotel. We saw Elephant's and a leopard and all other kinds of wildlife. The next morning we did a sunrise safari which was a much slower pace & beautiful to be in the park listening to the animals wake up. Loku brought us breakfast with some fruits and hoppers etc. We saw elephants, buffalo, deer, monkeys, wild boars and their babies, and much more. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the park and the animals. Amazing experience, and you can’t beat the price.
