What to expect

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
Pickup at the nominated Lodge, Hotel or other accommodation at 5.30am in an Open Safari Vehicle. We make way to the Kruger Park entrance and go through the entrance formalities.
Once in the Park your guide will have decided on a route for the day but this can and often does change given sightings and advice received. Usually there is a short stop for breakfast (provided by the Lodge) with the next stop panned for lunch at one of the Camps. Afternoons are spent leisurely driving on the dirt roads visiting waterholes and bird hides where there are many and varied sightings of birds and wildlife. This afternoon drive generally heads in the direction of the chosen exit point of which there are many. You will be returned to your original pickup point or another drop-off point by prior arrangement.

We saw the Big 5 and plenty of more animals under his watch (which not everyone can say). Robbie made it his mission to show us as much as he could in the time that we had booked. He had a great sense of humour, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the park, the wildlife that live there, and on South Africa as a whole. Choosing a guide remotely is a real challenge and finding a good one can make your travel experience so much more fulfilling. Robbie Williams will not let you down. We joined Robbie for five days in Kruger and he made sure we had an incredible experience. I have been on numerous safaris and met a lot of guides and what sets Robbie apart is that he truly does care about showing you the best of South Africa. He has been exploring the bush since he was a kid, but never showed a bit of complacency, enthusiastically admiring and educating us about creatures he'd seen countless times before. One thing that stood out was how well connected and regarded Robbie was amongst the other guides, rangers and staff at the park. He always greeted and was greeted like an old friend and shared an ethical approach to wildlife tourism with his colleagues, keenly observing animal behavior and always respecting their space. I could go on, but I'll just say Robbie is a sure thing, he will make every effort to show you the experience you are seeking. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows Kruger like the back of his hand. He is a trustworthy, kind, positive person, happy to show you around his backyard, and chances are you'll make a new friend in the process.Robbie is charming, charismatic and most Importantly incredibly knowledgable about the wildlife. Robbie is exceptionally kind and his love for Kruger Park is so genuine and infectious. Robbie knows the park inside and out, so you can trust that he will show you what you want to see and more. His knowledge of the animals in the park is immense; he provided facts about all of the animals we saw and answered every one of our questions. Not only did he show us tons of big animals, but he stopped for many small animals too, which was great insight into the ecosystem of the land.
