The Colchagua Valley is one of the world’s premier wine tourist destinations. Known for its beautiful vineyard covered hills, hundred year old vines, enchanting colonial estate houses and modern high tech wineries, sets up a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a day trip from Santiago city.
Located in the southern half of the Rapel Valley, the Colchagua Valley has evolved over the last twenty years from being a calm stretch of farmland to becoming one of the largest and most active wine-producing regions in the country. The relatively low altitude of the coastal hills allows the Pacific breeze to mingle with the Andean winds, which cools the valley and prolongs the maturation period of the region.

Depart at 07:45 from your Hotel in Santiago and drive for 2, 30 hrs to Colchagua Valley arriving to Viña Los Maquis for Tour + Wine tasting.
Includes: Visit to the most representative places of the vineyard, surrounded by nature, to end with a tasting of 4 wines, 2 Gran Reserva wines Fotem, our ultra-premium wine from Calcu and our icon Lien.

Tour + Wine tasting - Includes a tasting of Le Petit Clos 2018 and Clos Apalta 2018, a welcome drink and a water bottle.

- We'll head to enjoy lunch at the famous Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, lead by the world-acclaimed chef Francis Mellman, an expert hand on meats; a superb culinary experience.
You'll have the option to choose a la carte and pay for your own lunch. We'll take care of booking a table for you.
- Our last stop would be at prestigious winery Neyen for an amazing wine tasting. A new world wine with an old world essence, Neyen offers authentic wines, reflecting the unique centenary vines and soils from our property in Apalta.
- Once we end the wine tasting, we'll drive 2, 30 hrs back to Santiago and drop you off at your Hotel. End of services.

And we ended the tour with a stop at a wine shop/hotel with an incredible view for some tastings. Our driver, Jose, was very nice and got us where we needed to be on time:). Each winery was incredible-- beautiful views and property, great tour guides and, of course, fantastic tastings. I was blown away by the views at Clos Apalta and the property at Maquis.
