You will visit the Central Plaza 25 de Mayo, a perpetual calm place. Inspiring and discreet for its colonial essence, its air of art and culture, for its atmosphere of intellectuality and tranquility.

Stop At: Museo Casa de la Libertad, Plaza 25 de Mayo, Sucre Bolivia

It was in this important building that the Bolivian Independence Act was signed. Its construction dates back to the year 1621, as a component of the Jesuit Convent.
Later it was part of the University building, in its classrooms the men who would lead the independence struggles throughout the continent were formed. It is currently a museum, in which pieces of unparalleled historical value are exhibited.

Founded on March 27, 1624, Juan Frías de Herrán. Provincial Superior of the Society of Jesus in Peru, in 1701 the building was completed, and a part of the University was operating there in connection with the cloister of the Church of San Miguel. It was a place where the ideas of independence germinated from 1807, fueled by doctrines of the French Revolution and where the Republic of Bolivia was finally founded.

Stop At: La Glorieta Castle, 5.5 Km From The Center Of Sucre, On The Road To Yotala And Potosi, Sucre Bolivia

Only five kilometers from Sucre, is this eclectic construction, which is characterized by the confusing mix of architectural styles, among which Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical and Mudejar features can be appreciated. Its owners were the princes of the Glorieta, Francisco Argandoña and his wife Clotilde Urioste.
In its nearly 40 rooms you can appreciate the splendor of the time, admire its luxurious stained glass windows.

It was good meeting people from Bolivia. The guide was good but visiting the site I thought she would be the one to give us the details but apparently, there was a guide in Casa de Libertad. Spanish speaking and the guide will just transfer to English but she has to whisper so we won't distract t...
