Having taken dozens of city tours in different countries, this was by far one of the most informative and enjoyable ones. It makes a difference when your guide such as ours today, Chander, is showing you his neighborhood. Chander knew how to navigate the many narrow passageways of Old Delhi providing you in an extremely relaxed way the history behind many of the old buildings and a sense of today's commerce in this area. It was fun to be offered a variety of Indian delicacies in shops known by Chander along the way. The tours ended on a wonderful high note with a visit and lunch at the home of Masterji Kee Haveli. In addition to seeing this beautifully restored home, the traditional Indian lunch served there was superb.A must tour for anyone who wants to see the true Old Delhi through the eyes of a knowledgable local. A must tour for anyone who wants to see the true Old Delhi through the eyes of a knowledgable local. We were fortunate to have Chander as our guide! A kind man with fluent English who took us through the nooks and crannies of Old Delhi. I love the fact that (after asking our permission) he followed us with his camera, providing us with a detailed photographed story of our visit. Seeing our kin interest - Chander took us through extremely narrow streets (if you can call it that), to see sights that we would have never been exposed to on our own. An amazing adventure!! We thoroughly recommend MKH tourism India as your source of guides in your next visit to Delhi (we used them for additional tours - all exceeded our expectations!)As first time visitors to India, our family found this tour of 'real' Delhi an invaluable introduction to an amazing country and city. As first time visitors to India, our family found this tour of 'real' Delhi an invaluable introduction to an amazing country and city. We spent our first day with Mr Raj Dhar, who is such a knowledgeable and generous gentleman - a local whose shared knowledge and love of his city and culture instantly opened our eyes and hearts to the hidden wonders and marvellous mayhem we found ourselves immersed in. We were invited into the beautiful home (a traditional haveli) of Raj's business partner, Dhruv for a much appreciated calm midday respite where we feasted on the best meal of our entire trip (Mrs Gupta's daal is out of this world!) Rarely have we felt so warmly welcomed or found ourselves so comfortable in new surroundings so quickly. By the end of an amazing day with our new 'friends in Delhi', we were all walking and talking like locals. Book this without delay, you won't be disappointed!I came to India last year for the 1st time and experienced the 1/2 day tour of Old DEHLI. I came to India last year for the 1st time and experienced the 1/2 day tour of Old DEHLI. I had such an amazing experience the first time, I just had to come back and do the full day tour and I was not dissapointed. I feel in love with DEHLI all over again. Dhruv is a truly inspiring guide, host and stuard of DEHLI. He shows you this incredible city through his eyes. His knowledge is amazing, his friendships with the locals are genuine and his love for his home is inspiring. When Dhruv invites you to try something, do not hesitate, the flavours are amazing, please try the Lassi. I feed the hungry, saw Saree's so colourful, tried spices, heard stories, met a cheese maker, a tea maker, a philosopher a family man. I watched a community that shared resources with an open heart. There is something really special about Old Dehli and this tour is the only way to see it. Many thanks Marisa and friendsThis is the best experience of our visit to Delhi. This is the best experience of our visit to Delhi. Our guide Anju showed her passion and love to Old Delhi and led us to experience the traditional (and real) way of life in Old Delhi. The tour was well organized and most importantly, NOT COMMERCIAL (no hidden charges, no tipping and everything included, which was very rare among all the other tours that we had in India). You get to listen, see, smell, and eat a lot of things in Old Delhi, just like the local, and it was a lot of fun. At the end of our trip, we had our best Indian cuisine in the founder's own house in Old Delhi, and we were totally impressed by what he and Anju did to make this trip a wonderful experience for all the travelers. Thank you Anju and Dhruv, we had a great memory for Delhi because of you!!!Anju's love of Old Delhi is palpable as she guides you around. She grew up here and knows the place well. Anju's love of Old Delhi is palpable as she guides you around. She grew up here and knows the place well. The day was packed with experiences of what day-to-day life is like in Old Delhi, and the history as told through the amazing architecture and stories of the people who have been there for generations. Anju is also a great photographer, and took many excellent photos. I also took many of my own. I think this is a *must-see* for anyone visiting Delhi. It's an adventure, but you're in good hands with Anju and/or Dhruv. Thanks Anju! Ram-ram
