The day included wine tasting of 4 wines at each of 2 different wineries followed by lunch then a cruise on a motorised catamaran. The day was made specially our friendly guide, Heather, and the great company of 3 women from tasmania in our group. The cruise included a glass of wine and green lipped mussels along with seeing how mussels are grown. I'm not keen on mussels but it was still a beautiful cruise and a lovely day.I had the chance to go on a full day wine tour. The tours were really interesting as the comments was really focus not only on the taste of the wine but the history and process. High quality of customer service with a great team who can pick you up from your accommodation in Picton or Blenheim.We did the Taste of Marlborough tour which involves visiting several wineries. Our guide Ken was excellent from the outset (even when we provided the wrong pick up location). He gave us great facts on the area as we drove. We did the Taste of Marlborough tour which involves visiting several wineries. Our guide Ken was excellent from the outset (even when we provided the wrong pick up location). He gave us great facts on the area as we drove. Having a tour guide that knew the area and the wineries was excellent as he was able to answer all our questions. When we asked what the best wineries were he used his magic to get us into another one last minute. Highly recommend this tour as it provided great insight into how the region became renowned and pushed us outside our wine comfort zone. Left feeling much more educated about wine which was topped off by an excellent day out. Huge thanks to Ken for making it one of the best days of the trip.Heather was an excellent guide, showed us around including an extra gin venue. Marlborough wines are very varied, we visited boutique, niche, organic and mass market wineries.

He was friendly,accommodating and very knowledgable about the vineyards, production And the area. If you are looking for a great tour guide, I highly recommend this tour company and Chris as your guide!

Excellent day out. Cam was an incredibly helpful guide. His knowledge was what made this a perfect experience for us. Good choice of differing styles of vineyards, loved the passion from Julie at Gibson Bridge. The extra cost for a full day was well worth it as the behind the scenes visit to a vineyard enlightened us in the methods of winemaking. Great choice for lunch, our platter for 2 provided a ‘doggy bag’ that fed us supper in the evening!
