There are a few options to choose from to explore the Road to Hana so you can experience the rainforest & its waterfalls, streams, fresh water ponds, bamboo forests & lush foliage, but there is only one company where the owners are actually a Native Hawaiian husband & wife team that were born & raised Hawaii. We pride ourselves in sharing the Hawaiian culture, history, & stories about Hawaii & what its like to live life here in the islands, while treating you like the VIP that you are! Our family history goes back 150 years & they still live in a little community out on the Road to Hana.While on tour we'll stop by our family's fruit stand that has been operating for 40 yrs & is the home of "the original banana bread." We'll cover the rigid & rugged terrain on the backside of Maui & travel where most visitors never see. Hot lunch & souvenir backpack included.

This was a great tour. Mike did a great job at making us his Ohana during our drive. He was very knowledgeable with Maui history, culture, had interesting stories of the towns and if curse pointed out the great sites along the way. We enjoyed our stops along the way that included Wailua Falls...

The tour to Hana has been the highlight of our trip so far. Mike our tour guide/driver was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable. Really knows the history and tells it so well. His driving skills were superb. I was a bit scared because I had read so many reviews about other companies and ...
The tour to Hana has been the highlight of our trip so far. Mike our tour guide/driver was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable. Really knows the history and tells it so well. His driving skills were superb. I was a bit scared because I had read so many reviews about other companies and other drivers but Mike’s calm & friendly demeanor was top notch and he earned out trust early on. The tour itself was incredible. I would not recommend that anybody drive this on their own. Too many crazy twists and turns and less than perfect roads. Not to mention that whoever is driving will not get to see very much because their eyes have to be on the road at all times. Views are incredible, you do not want to miss anything. Lunch was delicious. I had the Mahi and it was better than the Mahi I was served the night before at a 5 star restaurant here in Maui. My husband had the chicken and it was delicious as well. It rained a little bit that day but Mike had umbrellas ready for everyone. Don’t hesitate. This is a must do tour.Carol_U

The road to Hana is a must for anyone visiting Maui. Be aware..the road absolutely requires caution and experienced driving skills. We opted to take a guided tour so we could sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery rather than worry about the next hairpin turn. Everett was the perfect tour guide...

We opted to take a guided tour so we could sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery rather than worry about the next hairpin turn. Everett was the perfect tour guide! He shared his love for the island and expertly navigated the winding road. If I had one negative comment about the day, it would be the restroom facilities. For a must-see attraction on the island, all of the facilities along the road to Hana were in need of some attention. But Everett made the day fun for all and I would highly recommend this tour….at least once.emanuelcC772WT

We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Mike, was great! He kept us entertained the entire time by telling us the history of Maui, and Hawaii in general, as we drove along the famous Road to Hana Highway. We made several stops along the way to take pictures and a couple longer stops at Waiʻānapa...
We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Mike, was great! He kept us entertained the entire time by telling us the history of Maui, and Hawaii in general, as we drove along the famous Road to Hana Highway. We made several stops along the way to take pictures and a couple longer stops at Waiʻānapanapa State Park (Black Sands Beach) and Pua’a Ka’a Falls to take a dip in the water. We had the Mahi Mahi for lunch, which was really good! And enough stops were made for restroom breaks and to get snacks. The road to Hana can be very windy-turny and we had read that a lot of people get motion sickness; however, our driver and guide Mike drove very well and knew where to slow down and speed up so as to not get us sick. No one on our trip got sick, not even my 3 month pregnant wife! Overall we were very happy with our experience! Thanks Hawaiian Style!gunterrein
