A day trip from Khao Lak to explore Khao Sok’s Chiew Larn Lake in Khao Sok National Park, a natural wonderland worth spending a day exploring. Visit "Nam Rad Watershed Forest" and freshen up in a natural crystal-clear emerald pond surrounded by the unique forest. Take a boat ride to see the beauty of the lake and its towering limestone cliffs. Have lunch on one of the most beautiful raft house on the lake. Swim, kayak by yourselves, and relax with no big crowds. We always run small groups.

Stop At: Cheow Lan Dam (Ratchaprapa Dam), Khao Sok National Park Khao Pang Subdistrict, Ban Ta Khun 46820 Thailand
07:00 Pick up from any hotel in Khao Lak, drive to the Takhun District, Suratthani ( approx 1:50 hours drive). Visit "Nam Rad Watershed Forest" and freshen up in a natural crystal clear pond surrounded by the unique forest.
Arrive at Cheow Lan Pier, and board the boat to explore the highlights of the lake. Cruise along the lake and enjoy the multi-spot scenery. Stop for a photo moment at the Three-brother-pillar, a symbolic landmark of the lake. You are allowed to swim just jump right from the boat.
Arrive at Frog Island, enjoy a delicious Thai lunch on the island with a 270-degree view of limestone mountains and jungle. Spend your day after lunch just simply relaxing, kayaking on your own, or beating the heat to swim into emerald clear water. Enjoy sightseeing the surroundings.
16:00 back to the pier. Drive to the dam ridge for a panoramic dam viewpoint.
18:00 Arrive at Khao Lak.

Family of 4. Pickup was swift in a nice van, everything was well organized. Our guide was fun, his English was good. The swim in the clear water was nice, but definitely do the small kayak tour in the jungle ! Next The tour on the lake was nice, fast longtail boat, taking in the beautiful scene...

The swim in the clear water was nice, but definitely do the small kayak tour in the jungle ! Next The tour on the lake was nice, fast longtail boat, taking in the beautiful scenery. This lake and it's surroundings is amazing! The cave was nice. The meal on the raft was good and plenty, with a super view. Went for some kayaking afterwards and some swimming before we went back to the boat and some more exploring. Our photo's are proof of this amazing trip. Recommended.aimeermann

Wow!! What an amazing and well organised trip. We recently visited khaolak for our honeymoon and booked the khao sok Lake Safari before we went. There was only 1 other couple on the trip also on their honeymoon, which made it so special and personal. We had a guide each. We had Peter who was a brilliant guide and taught us so much about the area and clearly loves his job which shows with his enthusiasm. Camille (sorry if spelt wrong) was also amazing and so friendly. I wish we had booked more trips with khaolak tour plan but we didn't discover them until our final days!!!DianeC351

This was a terrific day tour. The lake is just beautiful. We took a jungle hike, visited caves, a great lunch and swimming in the lake!
