Day 1: Overnight Camel Safari Tour
Pass By: Mehrangarh Fort, Fort Rd., Jodhpur 342006 India
Your tour starts with pickup in Jodhpur 2 PM at your hotel, or the airport, train station or bus station. Travel by private car to Osian where you have the chance to independently visit two famous temples, the Sachiya Mata Temple and the exquisite Jain Temple, which features a vast expanse of intricately carved marble. After taking in the temples, go to desert Village where welcome by indian traditional Then Rest & Relax For 1-2 Hours At indian traditional Hut Home Stay then head to the starting point for the camel safari. The camel ride is considered a peak experience in Rajasthan. Expect to spend about one to two hours riding the camel in the Thar Desert. Stay to watch the skies and sands change colors during the sunset hour, then return to your Home Stay Then enjoying Marwari traditional food also then night stay in Sleeping Under Star Or Hut Which You Perfer and next morning you can take a breakfast then return to your private vehicle for transfer back to Jodhpur.

We decided to do this desert trip at a very last moment and we don’t regret the decision at all. It was a fun, relaxing experience and Ray definitely contributed a lot in it. He is a great guide who also speaks very well English. He told us everything he knows and what’s special about him is that he never forced us to do anything we didn’t like. The family we spent the night with was awesome tooooo I didn’t expect they could also speak English and don’t worry Ray actually was there the whole night with us tooo. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis chez la famille Dahnu :) Avons adoré la balade en chameau au coucher de soleil! Le thé est excellent ainsi que le dîner servi en soirée. Nous avo choisi de domir à la belle étoile mais une chambre (avec toilette) privée a été mise à notre disposition à c...

Nous avo choisi de domir à la belle étoile mais une chambre (avec toilette) privée a été mise à notre disposition à côté de la maison familiale. Sommeil paisible bercé par le bruit des animaux du désert. Au réveil, avant le départ, un succulent petit déjeuner nous a été servi. Merci à Ray, notre chauffeur pour le transport au départ et au retour ainsi que pour ses bons conseils et recommandations. Nous recommandons vraiment cette excursion 😃756edenb

Definitely worth it if you want to taste the Indian rural life. We slept in the huts of some local farmers of the Osian area. Definitely worth it if you want to taste the Indian rural life. We slept in the huts of some local farmers of the Osian area. The village is authentic and beautiful, and the landscapes are deliciously bucolic. We felt super safe, and relaxed in every moment. Our guide Ray was super helpful explaining us all our doubts, and our host family made us feel at home. We did a camel ride at sunset, and then we slept under the stars. In the morning, we visited some local Hindu temples. We would repeat for sure!
