We had an amazing time with our guide, Erdem! He was very knowledgeable and eager to make our experience memorable! We really enjoyed the pace and were very happy with the stops that were included in our tour! In addition to the ruins that we visited in Ephesus, we went to a Turkish rug facility where we learned how these beautiful carpets are made, by hand and then were treated to a lovely lunch! We also visited a wonderful deli where we enjoyed samples of Turkish delight among other delicious treats. We would like to visit this part of Turkey again after this wonderful experience! Superb. Our guide, Erdem, was a fountain of knowledge and knew exactly how to plan the itinerary ro get the best out of the day, from making sure we got to the Virgin Mary's house before it got too busy, through a fabulous visit to Ephesus (I could have spent the whole day there but the heat was building so Erdem kept us in the shade where he could) and then on to the temple of Artemis before a delicious lunch under the trees. The visit to the carpet workshop was an unexpected highlight too!
