He was somehow always there to provide info and context yet never felt intrusive. He was flexible in helping us see the most possible in the time available to us. I would definitely retain his services again if I return to the area.

Highly recommend this tour company. I have been coming to Turkey for 15 years and have never really done any tours and have always wanted to see Ephesus and Pammukkale and I’m so glad we done a private tour with Tour Altinkum. We had our own private driver Okan (probably didn’t spell it right) and our own private tour guide Emre who were both so friendly and so patient with 3 girls who love to shop so stopped off a lot 😂 Emre is full of knowledge and I think I learned more from him in 2 days than I did in 5 years of secondary school 😂 Both Ephesus and Pammukkale were stunning and with Emre as our tour guide made it so much better as we learned so much about Turkish history which we wouldn’t have learned on our own. We stopped off at a leather store and jewelers were my credit card got a bit hot 😅😂 we also done the wine tasting after Pamukkale which was fab and fruit wines are my new favorite drink 😍 If you are thinking of doing any tours I highly recommend this company, booking was so simple as Mustafa done it all through WhatsApp beforehand. Thanks so much Okan and Emre for a great 2 days!!Riza is an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and professional. Looked for ways to keep the tour interesting and even added in a couple of extra stops. Very thoughtful, professional, and kind. Book this tour if you love history and want a full experience!

Ata was our personal tour guide…despite expecting a small group, it was just me, my husband, Ata, and our amazing driver Mustafa! We had an a wonderful day. ATA’s depth of knowledge and ability to answer questions and share his love of his homeland was exceptional. He remarked that our visit to Ephesus was one of the 3 busiest days ever, but we felt that we were able to navigate well with him and definitely appreciated his vast understanding of the people and history. We could have done without the sales pitch after the carpet making demonstration, but understand the artisan quality and many purchase these gorgeous rugs to be shipped home. We enjoyed a nice lunch with Ata. Impressive to note that the requirement for guides in Turkey is a higher score on language proficiency exam than a college professor! Tourism in Turkey is a serious business and Ata was exceptional- gifted professional.
