What to expect
Sunset kayaking on the Indian River Lagoon is an unforgettable adventure that offers a rare chance to witness the bioluminescent dinoflagellate algae. As we paddle through the water at dusk, you will see the ocean come alive with light and color, a natural phenomenon that occurs only in a handful of places in the world.
Our tour starts at Titusville, one of the few places in the world where you can witness bioluminescence. It's also where NASA is located, so it's possible you could see a rocket launch! Our experienced guides will provide you with a safety briefing before launching onto the Indian River Lagoon. We'll share some fun facts with you on how bioluminescence works while on tour. As we paddle through the water at dusk, we'll show you the brightest bioluminescence in the world and let the guides do what they do best, show you a great time on the water!
This tour is perfect for all ages and families. We will launch onto the Indian River lagoon to paddle around the local vicinity to experience the intense glow of the bioluminescent dinoflagellate algae. We will be paddling in 1 of only 5 bioluminescent bays in the world. Come experience wonder with Florida-Adventurer!

We had a great time with Josiah and Dustin on our tours. It was cloudy with light rain on both tours, and we did not get to see any manatee because the water was to cold, but we saw at least 10 dolphins playing in the water and many beautiful birds. The storms had washed many of the bioluminescence jellies away, but they worked very hard and found great places to show us the beautiful glow. Before you go, research the time of year and what to expect. I was nervous to be on the water at night, but Josiah made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these tours, and we are planning to come again this summer!This is an experience you don’t want to miss. The sunset was breathtaking and there’s so much wildlife to see. Absolutely amazing experience, we were lucky enough to have our tour guide Zac all to ourselves for our group of 5 ladies, we were all a little nervous but Zac quickly put us all at ease and soon we were paddling along side manatees and dolphins like we were pros 😄 Zac was full of information and enthusiasm about the local wildlife and made sure we got the best out of our trip, including seeing the bioluminescence after it went dark. We loved every minute. Couple of points to note, you will get wet, you will need bug spray and you won't get an Uber 😅 but it was our favourite thing we did in Florida, I recommend this tour to everyone, just fabulousTaylor was amazing!!!!
