Opportunities to catch snook, spotted sea trout, mangrove snapper, flounder, tarpon, grouper, ladyfish, scorpion fish, jack crevalle, tarpon, black drum, sharks, sunfish, red drum, lane snapper, grouper and grunts,
Plenty sight-seeing experiences are available. These include birdwatching, wildlife sighting, dolphin watching, manatee watching, seashell collecting, tours of the surrounding barrier islands, as well as personally narrated history of the area.

What an outstanding day on the water!!! Truly a day my family and I will cherish forever! We took the kids (6 and 3) to try some fishing and explore the barrier islands. The kids loved the marine life sightings (dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles!). We brought food and picnicked on an islands. While there we played in the sand and water, and collected seashells. My daughter caught her first fish, plus some more!! Captain Rob was professional, knowledgeable, and fun. The boat was clean, and well equipped with safety gear and life jackets for the kids. Captain Rob made this trip even more exciting than we could have ever expected! His knowledge of the area shows without him, having to say a word. Our toddlers who were a bit nervous about being on a boat and fishing boat, warmed up to the idea and to rob, and those caught their first ever fish! He also took us to see some of the local islands and wildlife. To top off a great day Captain Rob also filleted our fish for us! We highly would recommend Clearwater flats, fishing and captain rob
