I woke up before 6am in Brisbane to make the 9am surf lesson south of Gold Coast and it was absolutely worth it. Our group only had three people, so we all got ample help from Landa. I almost tried the all-day lesson, but as much as I enjoyed the experience...

Our group only had three people, so we all got ample help from Landa. I almost tried the all-day lesson, but as much as I enjoyed the experience, I’m glad I didn’t because it was exhausting. Super excited to see the photos, though. Thank you, Australia Surfing Adventures for a great start to my holiday!This is a must do if you want to feel the excitment of surfing. None of us had ever surfed on a board before , we now have the itch to do more as a result of the trip to Fingal Head. It was the highlight of our trip.

If you ever wanted to try surfing but have kept putting it off for years like me - this is your chance! These guys are well organised, easy going and fun; they live and breathe surfing. I had a great day in the waves, completely relaxed and stood on the board quickly. I even got a life back to our hotel! A must do while in the GC.The instructors were friendly and patient. They focused on safety, while giving us independence to get out there and surf. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Highly recommend :)
