Portlligat is a small fishing village on the Costa Brava, in the Alt Empordà region, in Catalonia, Spain. It is especially known for being the place where Salvador Dalí, the famous surrealist painter, established his home and studio.
The main point of interest in Portlligat is the Salvador Dalí House-Museum. This house was the home of Dalí and his wife Gala for many years, and the artist transformed it into a surrealist work of art in its own right.
