The venue is about 1hr from Marrakech our pickup was 7pm. We arrived at Fantasia at around 8pm and were greeted by Berber horsemen> inside Fantasia was quite spectacular. The dinner was served in tents it was a 4 course meal, soup which was nice then it went downhill next course was a fatty overcooked lamb leg with no accompniants, then a very dry chicken tangine and desert was very sour oranges. the show itself advertised as an unbelievable night of entertainment, horse stunts, parades, belly dancers, acrobats , fireworks and a war ceremony where opposing sides find there best horseman its not quite the same in reality 1 belly dancer who is fully clothed surely the point is you see the belly. no acrobats or fireworks and no contest to find best rider. the conclusion is a a poor 1 Hr dinner followed by a poor 1/2 Hr show a total waste of time and moneyWent to the Fantasia show which cost me £200 for myself and 3 children (20, 15 and 4). Can I start by saying don’t waste your money. The food wasn’t great for that price firstly and the show lasts for 30mins max! If you have young children the noise of the guns is terrifying also! Went to the Fantasia show which cost me £200 for myself and 3 children (20, 15 and 4). Can I start by saying don’t waste your money. The food wasn’t great for that price firstly and the show lasts for 30mins max! If you have young children the noise of the guns is terrifying also! When leaving Fantasia a guy on a horse approached my eldest who was carrying my youngest and said to my 4 year old to sit on the horse for free. Naively, my son passed her over. I was only a few footsteps behind at this point but only got there when my children were all sandwiches between these horses and men. These men move super vast and prey on vulnerable people. My son was asking me for a photo and saying it’s fine it’s free (which I knew it couldn’t be) As my son took my youngest the man said ‘pay’ my son said ‘you said it was free’ the man said ‘you pay or I kill you’. I was getting money out to pay anyway but thought I had miss heard him and asked my son after. We saw all the horseman going around doing the same as we were waiting for our taxi. Utterly appalled at our experience! My children do not now what to go out of our hotel until we go home after Christmas!!Incredible experience. Incredible experience. We really got to see what the Moroccan tradition was like going on this trip. They gave us a lot of food, more than expected. By the time the third course came I couldn't breath anymore. The food was dealious and the service was great. Only negative thing I would say is they didn't put the AC on in the room. The show was fantastic.
