Family Rafting Adventure
Overview
8KM rafting is great for those looking for an introduction to rafting, families with younger children, or those that just want a quick splash in the jungle to cool off from the heat. This section of the Mae Taeng river is class II and III. With an easy beginning giving you have some time to relax, learn your skills with your guide before entering a great class III and into short continuous section of rapids that goes almost all the way to the take out where our camp is. We have top-of-the-line equipment and well trained river guides to make sure you have a safe adventure. We have towels for you at the finish and shower facilities that you can use before heading home.

I have the good fortune to live in Chiang Mai and as such, know all the tour operators. 8 Adventures has no equal in Chiang Mai. The starting point for hiking, kayaking and quad bike driving is SAFETY. The second is the experience itself. 8 Adventures focuses so much on safety and mitigate risk wherever there is one. Quite remarkable standards unlike many of the others that I have used. Then the experience itself is tremendous and you need experienced guides to have a great experience. I have been with Khun Moss (ask for him as he cannot stop smiling!) on two occasions and he goes beyond the call of duty. Indeed, you could not ask for more. Amazing experience. The day started with our friendly driver collecting us from our hotel in Chiang Mai old town and driving us for about 90mins to 8Adventures camp. When we arrived we watched the safety video and got changed before heading up the river to start rafting. The guides were super helpful and friendly and steered us down an amazing river with beautiful scenery and varying degrees of rapids. None our our family had ever rafted before but with the simple instructions everything was fine. It was definitely one of the best family activities we’ve done in recent years. The lunch provided after the rafting was fantastic and then it was time to head back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend.So great! Two guides are so nice and funny.The trip was fantastic!❤️❤️also the lunch were yummy 🤤 we will join this trip next time and highly recommend it to anyone

I went rafting with my wife and 7 year old son. The rapids were fun and exciting but not dangerous. We skipped the middle portion that was a little more intense. So much fun and the staff was AMAZING!!
