Super Ausflug. Vor allem im Herbst oder Winter, wenn die Strände nicht nutzbar sind. Würde empfehlen. Tolle Informationen.

Really enjoyed this one, our guide Eleni was wonderful, her knowledge of events and places past and present of Cyprus as a whole was invaluable. The sites we visited were amazing. Whilst I understand entry is prohibited, the only thing I would ask for is a better glimpse into the “ghost town”. Overall a great experience and would recommend. Thank you Eleni, you made the Avstralis day.Had a wonderful time, got what i expected. Had a wonderful time, got what i expected. Couple of improvements: Salamis is optional, but everybody in my group took it, because it makes no sense not to. Second, the beachtime is only one hour, and if i want to be on the beach, i would have got a beach hotel, if not then even the one hour takes away, would have preferred 1 extra hour in Famagusta instead, because we only had 2, due to Salamis visit, and we had to lunch and see the city. All in all we managed, and got what expected, great views, great monuments, good time. And yes, tour really starts from Agia Napa, but we got a nearly empty local bus to go there, and changed to a private coach bus from there, no big deal.It was a careless visit to Nothern part as I was staying in the Southern. It was a careless visit to Nothern part as I was staying in the Southern. It was interesting to visit Salamis and have a glimpse to the ghost town of Famagusta. A guide provided lots of information which would take time to find yourself. Interesting experience crossing the buffer zone controlled by UN. It's really hot in July though. Cover your head, drink water, take sunscreen.Great experience. I am glad that I was at places, where mythical Greek heroes were walking. I have only one complaint - the trip was from Agia Nappa and this was not mentioned anywhere. From Larnaka to Agia Nappa we had to travel by the slowest village bus.

Our guide was excellent. Salamis is a small site, but it's history makes it worth it. St Barnabas tomb was very good too. A good selection of icons and the museum was quite interesting.Famagusta was interesting too. Perhaps a bit long. Especially the stop for a swim. Long lines for the changing rooms, so no actual time to swim. That could have been eliminated which would get you back to Larnaca a bit earlier. Worth the trip.
