2 Hour or 1.5 Hour Eye-Level Adventure Whale Watch Tour (Seasonal Dec-April)
*New* Temporary location and vessels for season 23/24 due to the Lahaina wildfires.
Same great eye-level whale watching onboard a low-to-water small group adventure raft. Hawaiian owned and voted TripAdvisors Traveler's Choice, we've been Maui’s original ocean rafting experience for more than 30 years. Our small group tours of 20 guests or less make for a fun, family style experience. Although whales are protected in Hawaii and we do not approach them closer than federal regulations, they sometimes approach our small rafts for those closer and eye level whale encounters. Tour includes searching for active whales and stopping to watch them, a full narration of whale and Maui facts by our marine naturalist, listening to whale songs on a hydrophone and lots of photo ops! Whale encounters and closeness of whales vary based on the wild animal's chosen behavior. Time of day does not affect whale activity.
* Whale encounters vary in their natural environment, the wild. No up close guarantee.
*NO pregnant persons or children under 3 years.

We had a fantastic experience. We saw multiple whales, a sea turtle, bottlenose dolphins, and hundreds of spinner dolphins. Our captains were knowledgeable and informative. Very helpful very enjoyable. The smaller boat was great.

We had a great experience with this. I've been whale watching before on Maui but wanted to try a smaller craft. There were only 16 people on the boat and we saw lots of whale action even though it was the last week of March and the end of the whale season. The guides were knowledgeable and nice, and this was the highlight of our trip. I would recommend bringing water (although they did offer us some) since you'll be there 2 hours, a hat that will not fly off with strong breezes if you need shade, and Dramamine if you tend to get motion sickness. I'm awful at pictures but we saw whales breach, mothers with playful calves, tail flips, etc. Not a dull moment!
